Ironova Technologies is a software engineering company in Rajkot. We build web, mobile and cloud software for businesses, and we build and run a product of our own, which means we have had to live with our own architectural decisions rather than only advise on them.

Four positions we will not trade away.

We would rather tell you what is not built.

Every project has gaps and every estimate has a part nobody is sure about. A vendor who hides those is showing you what the first three months after signing will feel like. We put ours in writing before you ask.

The boring parts are the product.

Backups someone has actually restored from. Access control that holds. A deployment anyone on the team can run. None of it demos well, and all of it decides whether you still have a working business after a bad week.

We say no roughly as often as we say yes.

Taking work we cannot do well is a worse outcome than not taking it. If the timeline is not real, you will hear that on the first call rather than discover it together in month three.

You talk to whoever wrote the code.

There is no account manager layer between you and the answer, so nothing gets translated twice on its way to you and back.

A team that spans stacks, not one that defends a stack.

We are a team of engineers, designers and testers working across front-end, back-end, mobile, cloud and data. That is deliberate, and it is the reason we can say technology gets chosen for your problem rather than for our convenience, a shop that only knows one stack will recommend that stack for everything, and will believe it while doing so.

It also means capacity scales without a stranger being dropped into your project. When we add people to a build they are people who already work here, with the same review standards and the same person accountable for the outcome.

Why a company with its own product takes client work.

The two halves pay for each other in a way that is easy to miss. Client work exposes us to problems a single product never would, different sectors, different constraints, other people’s conventions and other people’s mistakes. The product forces us to live in one codebase for years and face every shortcut we took in it.

A company with only clients never finds out what its decisions cost. A company with only a product stops seeing how differently other people solve things. We would rather have both.
